The story

Maasha Kah is the Founder & CEO of The Right Distraction — a strategy, leadership, and experience design company helping people and organizations build better environments for connection, performance, growth, and meaningful change.

With more than a decade across business strategy, human resources, diversity, equity and inclusion, social impact, philanthropy, leadership development, and organizational transformation, she has worked with and within leading organizations including Google, Uber, Eventbrite, Teach For America, DocuSign, Postmates, and Dropbox.

Her work sits at the intersection of people, performance, and possibility. She has led large-scale programs, advised leaders through complex organizational moments, built inclusive workplace strategies, and designed experiences that help individuals and teams communicate more clearly, collaborate more effectively, and move forward with greater purpose.

Before building The Right Distraction more fully, she held senior leadership roles — including leading DEI & Social Impact — shaping culture, supplier diversity, community engagement, and leadership initiatives through periods of rapid growth. She has designed and led everything from intimate leadership sessions to gatherings of up to 25,000 attendees.

Her work is rooted in a simple belief: better environments create better outcomes.
